Police: Driver In Accident Was Drunk

The Duluth Police Department says the driver of a smashed-up SUV was drunk when he went through a red light and struck a pick-up truck.

The accident happened Saturday around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Kenwood Avenue and West Arrowhead Road.

A 22-year-old male driver was charged with 4th degree DWI, according to police.

Nobody was seriously injured.
