Northland Sees Lowest Gas Prices Since 2009

The national trend of falling gas prices has many Northlanders excited to fill up their tanks.

According to AAA, Minnesota’s average gas prices are $1.60 and Wisconsin’s gas prices are at $1.61 — both below the current national average of $1.77.

AAA went on to say they have not seen prices this low since 2009.

Officials expect prices to decline throughout February and then start rising again after April arrives — for the summer travel season.
