Judge Throws Out Transgender Lawsuit

DULUTH, Minn.-We have an update tonight about a lawsuit involving a Northland transgender case.

Annmarie Calgaro, a mother who has been trying to stop her 17–year–old son from getting transgender services, had filed a number of lawsuits including one against St. Louis County.

She claimed her son couldn’t go through with the transition as he didn’t have her permission because he was a minor.

Today, however, a judge threw out the case citing the boy had every right to go forward with transitioning because he was no longer living with his parents.
