2 Men Die in Small Plane Crash in Sheboygan County
SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (FOX 6 NOW) – Sheboygan County officials now say two men were killed in a plane crash near the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport on Friday afternoon, May 26.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office indicates they were notified around 12:30 p.m. of an aircraft that had crashed into a field in the Town of Sheboygan Falls — in the area of County Highway O and Willow Road.
A news release says the plane that crashed was an Aerotek Pitts S-2A Fixed Wing Single-Engine aircraft used for recreational flying.
Officials have stated that there were no survivors in this crash.
The FAA will be sending a team to investigate. The NTSB will be the lead agency for the accident investigation.
