Carlton Co. Sheriffs Looking for Suspect in Kidnapping and Assault

CARLTON, Minn. – Police are looking for the suspect in a Carlton County kidnapping and assault earlier this month.

Carlton Co. Sheriffs issued an arrest warrant for 21 year old Scott Lindgren Friday.

The new charge is for allegedly threatening and tampering with a witness.

Lindgren was originally accused of seven felonies, stemming from an incident where a child was tied to a chair and assaulted.  He posted bond after a hearing Monday, and is scheduled to appear in court June 12th.

The assault happened at a house which caught fire Monday, May 22nd.
