Fuel Oil Leak in Hermantown

Officials Concerned for Runoff into Keane Creek

HERMANTOWN, Minn. – Hermantown police and fire departments responded to reports of a fuel oil spill Saturday.

According to investigators, a residential fuel oil tank leaked in the 48–hundred block of Maple Grove Rd. Saturday afternoon.

The fuel oil may have run off into the Keane Creek water system.

Hermantown officials have notified the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
