Upward Bound Program at UWS Receives $1.28 Million Grant
Serves 56 high school students from the Superior School District

SUPERIOR, Wis. – The Upward Bound program at the University of Wisconsin – Superior received a $1.28 million grant for the next five years from the U.S. Department of Education.
The Upward Bound program, established in 1999, currently serves over 50 high school students from the Superior School District who are low-income or first-generation college students, who have a desire to attend post-secondary education.
The goal of the program is to help students succeed in high school, enroll, attend, and graduate from the college of their choosing.
