Friends of the Library Sale Runs Through Thursday
DULUTH, Minn.-The Friends of the Duluth Public Library’s 38th annual book sale began today.
The funds from the sale will help with purchasing new resources for the library like e–readers and free downloadable music.
Organizers are hoping they raise 21,000 dollars this year.
“They’ve certainly expanded the last number of years the number of programs they’ve been able to offer because of the funding they’ve been getting from us,” said Marcia Semerau, president of the Friends of the Library.
The sale will continue from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday this week, along with from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday.
On Thursday, you can even fill a grocery bag full of books for 5 bucks.
