Runners and Supporters Gather for Spaghetti Feed

The Tradition Has been Going on Since 1977

DULUTH, Minn.- Runners and supporters gathered for a spaghetti feed at the DECC in preparation for Grandma’s Marathon.

Attendees enjoyed Spaghetti with Marinara sauce, Caesar salad, milk and dessert at the event.  The Michelina’s all you can eat Spaghetti dinner is a tradition since 1977. It’s a way for runners to get their carbs in before the race, while enjoying the company of friends and family.

“The DECC helps put it on, and we have all these great volunteers serving it, so it’s just a really nice addition to the race weekend events,” said Linda Hanson, the Finance and Operations Director of Grandma’s Marathon.

The spaghetti feed was 12 dollars for adults and 6 dollars for kids 5 to 12.  Children 4 and under ate for free.
