DTA Introduces More Trolleys

DULUTH, Minn.-The Duluth Transit Authority Port Town Trolley is back on the streets of Duluth this summer with an expanded route as they now have two trolleys along with a backup.

The new route will go along Superior Street from 10th Avenue East to Sixth Avenue West. It will then go from Bayfront to Canal Park.

The trolley is also going through the art district of Duluth as well.

“It’s a service we are providing to the community,” said Dennis Jensen, DTA general manager. “The trolley helps the tourists get around the downtown area and Canal Park.”

The trolley stops at all DTA bus stops along Superior Street, as well as in Bayfront and Canal parks until 11:30 p.m.

The cost to get on is 50 cents while children four and under ride free.
