Philando Castile Shooting Dashcam Video

ST. PAUL, Minn.  – The case file for Officer Jeronimo Yanez in the shooting death of Philando Castile has been released by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, including dashcam video during the traffic stop on July 6, 2016 in Falcon Heights.

Dashcam video has only been shown in court.

Yanez was found not guilty of manslaughter and intentional discharge of a fire arm by a Ramsey County jury in a verdict that was delivered on Friday, June 16 following over 24-hours of deliberations.

The shooting of Castile gained national attention after his girlfriend, Diamond Reynolds streamed it live on Facebook.

The family has also confirmed that they will final a civil lawsuit in federal court.
