Police Canines Show Off Their Skills

Official Certification Trials Featured At Least Eight Local K-9 Teams

HERMANTOWN, Minn- The K-9s were out in full force this evening, but not for the bad guys. It was all part of the annual United States Police Canine Association.

K-9s from departments all over the region put on a free demonstration at the Hermantown High School football field. But those demonstrations were serious business for the K-9s and officers as it was the official Region 18 Certification Trials.

At least eight local K-9 teams were among eighty-five teams from departments across the region.
