Police: Eveleth Man Died of Hypothermia

An autopsy has determined that an Eveleth man found dead in a park died as a result of hypothermia. 

29-year-old Kyle Shock’s body was found in Monroe Park on Thursday. 

An autopsy was conducted Friday by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.  Shock’s death was ruled an accident. 

Police say Shock was last seen in the 200 Block of Grant Avenue around 1:00 a.m. on January 14.  

Authorities say there were no signs of trauma and no foul play is suspected in Shock’s death. 

The Eveleth Police Department is continuing to investigate the incident.
