Three-Week Blatnik Bridge Inspection to begin July 10
Project is expected to run July 10-27 - weather permitting

DULUTH, Minn. – Beginning on Monday July 10, a three-week long bridge inspection project will begin on the Blatnik Bridge, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Superior-bound traffic will be restricted to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily July 10 to approximately Tuesday, July 18.
Duluth-bound traffic will be restricted to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily beginning Wednesday July 19 to approximately Thursday, July 27.
Speed-limits will be reduced to 45 mph in the work zones, as well as a 10-foot width restriction. Motorists exceeding the 10-foot restriction will be encouraged to use the Bong Bridge.
Project may be affected by inclement weather, which may increase the time-frame.
MnDOT asks motorists to be patient, plan ahead, and drive carefully in all work zones.
