Literary Mural Adorns the New Zenith Bookstore

DULUTH, Minn. – Proctor artist Tom Napoli has put his touch on the storefront of the newest addition to West Duluth’s Central Avenue, Zenith Bookstore.
Napoli put the finishing touches on the mural in mid-June, giving pedestrians a taste of what the new independently-owned bookstore will offer when they finally open their doors on July 1.
“We couldn’t be more pleased with the mural,” said Zenith Bookstore owners Bob and Angela Dobrow. “It’s a stunning advertisement for books and for reading. All day long, people stop and marvel, take pictures in front of it, and want to talk to us about it. Tom did an amazing job!”
Napoli is no stranger to the walls and buildings of the Twin Ports, including across the way at Gannucci’s Italian Market where he painted the depiction of an Italian Marketplace.
