North Shore Festivals Kick Off this Weekend

Both Silver Bay and Two Harbors Hosting Events

NORTH SHORE, Minn.-It’s festival weekend on the North Shore as both Silver Bay and Two Harbors will host some weekend events.

In Two Harbors, Heritage Days is being held which includes a parade Saturday, music, and plenty of local delicacies.

Much the same is going on in Silver Bay as their parade kicked off tonight for Bay Days – on Saturday, they will have much more fun going on including a race and a lighted boats display.

No matter what the case, both events help celebrate the regions history.

“It’s a part of our history…the only way we are going to progress is to look back and see what happened in the past,” said Quay Flom, Heritage Days Volunteer Board member.
