Percy to Join Thomas at this Year’s ‘Day Out with Thomas’ Event
Events take place August 4-6, 11-13
DULUTH, Minn. – The North Shore Scenic Railroad (NSSR) is expecting to exceed record levels and organizers are preparing for their largest event ever. Presale numbers have already exceeded last year’s numbers, according to officials.
This year Thomas the Tank Engine will be joined by his best friend Percy.
The two engines from the Island of Sodor will join their fans at the Lake Superior Railroad Museum and run on the NSSR over the first two weekends of August, 4-6 and 11-13.
“We’re very fortunate to have Thomas back with us again this summer for the Friendship Tour with his best friend Percy,” said Ken Buehler, Executive Director of the Lake Superior Railroad Museum.
This is the first time Percy will have visited the United States, where he will join his friends Thomas and Sir Topham Hatt.
Events for the weekends will include train rides, live music, a magician, face painting, actors, storytelling, crafts, and so much more! All events are included with tours of the Museum at the Depot in downtown Duluth.
