CASDA Holds 5th Annual Socks for Survivors

It's One of CASDAs Biggest Fundraisers

SUPERIOR, Wis.- The Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse hosted its 5th annual “Socks for Survivors” golf tournament at Nemadji Golf Club.

The fundraiser is one of the Organization’s biggest of the year. Golf players and teams sign up and play a round of golf, while wearing wacky socks. Money is raised through registration fees, which was 50 dollars a player or 250 dollars for a team. The event also included door and raffle prizes.

“Center Against Sexual and Domestic Abuse provides supportive services to victims of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault and we also advocate for a community effort to end all violence. So I think most people can agree that those are pretty important things to support in our community, and everyone can benefit,” said Jenna Warmuth a Board Member of CASDA.

All proceeds go to help victims of sexual and domestic violence.
