‘Historic Arts & Theatre District’ Sign Now Up

Duluth’s “Old Downtown” is officially starting to look like its new name – the “Historic Arts & Theatre District.”

The new sign on the outside of the parking ramp next to the Casino on Superior Street was designed by the business across the street – Sheldon.

The design and idea to rename “Old Downtown” was the collaboration of downtown businesses on East Superior Street that wanted to carve out a clearer vision for that part of downtown.

The Historic Arts & Theatre District is on East Superior Street from Lake Avenue to 9th Avenue East.

The logo is expected to start popping up in more places as the year goes on.
