“Structure Failure’ At Minntac; No Workers Injured

MOUNTAIN IRON, Minn. – Minntac is reporting a “structural failure on the conveyor system.”

The accident happened Saturday at its facility in Mountain Iron.

Minntac officials said nobody was injured because “the area was cordoned off at the time of the incident. There was no danger to personnel at any time.”

As for last report, the company said it did not expect “impact to our customers or supply chain.”
