Volunteers Spend the Night Outside to Help Homeless Population

"A Night Without a Home" Collects Donations for Douglas County Homeless Population

SUPERIOR, Wis. – Volunteers are collecting money, food, and clothing for the homeless all night tonight.

At the eleventh annual A Night Without a Home event, volunteers are outside the Superior Public Library for twenty-four hours collecting donations, and providing food and coffee to the homeless community of Douglas County.

“Our homeless are not in your rotary clubs, they’re not in your churches, they’re on the street and, a lot of times, they’re invisible and tonight, once the sun goes down, we’ll have a lot of the folks that are on the street coming down, get a meal from us,” said Tom Wondolkowski, the organizer of the event.

If you want to donate or help out, A Night Without a Home is happening until noon on Sunday.
