Superior Restaurant to Host Charity Dinner

SUPERIOR, Wis. —

A restaurant in Twin Ports is giving back to the community that supports them.

The Kitchen is a tiny place in Superior that serves homemade breakfast and brunch.

And tomorrow, they’re hosting a prime rib dinner from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The meal costs ten dollars, and partial proceeds will be donated to area charities.

“This year we wanted to switch it up a little bit,” said restaurant owner Ed Flood.  “Cancer’s a big thing.  We’ve always done a big drive in October with breast cancer.”

The meal will benefit the Superior Police Department’s “Real Men Wear Pink” cancer fundraiser, led by Chief Nicholas Alexander, and the Shriners Children’s Hospital fundraiser for a digital x-ray machine.
