Cub Scouts Honor Duluth Police Officers

Duluth police officers were recognized Monday night – not by Chief Gordon Ramsay, though.

Instead, the recognition came from Gary-New Duluth Cub Scouts.

Each officer was adopted by a Cub Scout from Pack 13.

The youngsters presented each officer with a gift.

“So, it was very, very heartwarming to have somebody take the time to make a homemade, handmade gift for us. So it was very, very nice,” said Deputy Chief Mike Tusken.

Tusken says the department is hoping to be involved in more community policing events in 2016.
