Shell Lake Arts Center Raising Funds for Building Improvements
Non-Profit Needs $4.5 Million to Make Necessary Renovations
SHELL LAKE, Wis. – The Shell Lake Arts Center is raising funds to repair and rebuild their campus buildings.
The Arts Center has educated kids for the last 50 years with programs in music, theatre, art and film.
They need to raise $4.5 million to update their aging facilities.
“We need to continue providing programming for the next fifty years and in order to do that, we need to improve our buildings,” said Tara Burns, Executive Director of the Shell Lake Arts center. “We are also not ADA compatible so we want to be accessible to all.”
“To be able to have this type of business in a small town like Shell Lake is very, very important but really what’s most important is to provide this type of programs for our kids.”
The Arts Center wants to break ground on the new buildings in August 2018. To learn more or donate, visit theirĀ website.
