DULUTH, Minn. – The Duluth Entertainment Convention Center’s (DECC) newest executive director is only four months into her role, but is already looking toward the future.
Chelly Townsend says she wants to see the DECC grow as a sustainable building for everyone in the Northland.
The goal is do that by continuing to follow sustainable practices.
“The basic recycling, reducing and reusing,” said Townsend. “But it’s also an energy component and like I said, the social component and the economic component.”
Townsend took over the executive director position after Dan Russell retired last Aug.
