Gander Outdoors Opens in Hermantown

Store Opened Today

HERMANTOWN, Minn.-Gander Outdoors has opened in Hermantown.

According to a Facebook post from the store, they will have a grand opening celebration beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. Kids can paint a lure from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and build a duck call from 1-3 p.m. that day.

The store closed over the summer due to bankruptcy, but a new owner in Camping World worked to revive the store.

“The Hermantown store is one of six Gander Outdoors locations planned in the state of Minnesota and we have seen an overwhelming positive response to the opening of the Hermantown location, which offers customers one-stop shopping to serve all their outdoor recreational needs,” said Marcus Lemonis, Chairman of Camping World Holdings, which owns Gander Outdoors. “We are excited to continue expanding our outdoor industry footprint and reinforce our brand’s presence, while supporting economic growth across the country.”
