Skydive Superior donated more than $12,000 to local non-profits.
The money is coming from licensing revenue from GoPro video that shows the skydiving company’s 2013 mid-air collision.
Two planes crashed 12,000 feet above Superior in November of 2013.
All nine skydivers and two pilots aboard survived.
The crew called it a miracle and created the non-profit Miracle Eleven, Inc. to help others.
“It makes us feel really good. All of us are lucky to have survived this experience with nobody being seriously hurt,” said Mike Robinson with Skydive Superior.
The non-profits each getting $2,500 include Duluth Aviation Institute, Experimental Aircraft Association, Harbor House Crisis Shelter, Duluth Firefighters Operation Warm and the KQ Bike Drive.
