An aviation company is celebrating a milestone.

AAR marked the completion of its 200th aircraft at their Duluth repair station.

AAR celebrated with Mayor Don Ness and other local officials.

After three years of doing business in Duluth, AAR considers this one of its greatest milestones.

“Three years ago we had an empty shell here and in three years we’ve built this up to a world class maintenance facility,” said Mark Ketterer, AAR V.P. of Operations.

The facility currently employs 385 full time workers and contributes $47 million dollars annually to the regional economy.
