Jeff Foster Trucking is giving back to the Duluth community.
The company presented a $500 check to the Miller-Dwan’s Caring Ways Cancer Resource Center which played a big role in the life of Jeff Foster employee, Eric Johannesson.
He lost his life partner, Jeannie Salgy, to ovarian cancer.
The center helps all survivors deal with the physical, psychological, social and spiritual impacts of cancer.
Employees say working at the Jeff Foster isn’t just about clocking in and getting a paycheck.
“We really form a family. That we are committed to each other in working together, that we care about the things that matter to each of us as a team,” said Miriam Hanson, health and wellness advocate for Jeff Foster Trucking.
The company raised the money through a dunk tank during the annual Truck Driver Appreciation Week in September.
