Friday evening community members got a chance to raise the roof.
One Roof Community Housing held its annual fundraiser at Clyde Iron works.
The group provides home buyer services for the low to moderate income community.
“Everybody needs an affordable place to live. We all need a quality place to call home – if you can imagine not having that how do you get to work on time in the morning feeling good? How do you kids go to school? How do you function and contribute to your community if you don’t have a solid platform where you live to call home,” said Executive Director of One Roof Community Housing Jeff Corey.
The event featured food and beverage sampling from local restaurants, a silent auction and live music by The Spruce Roots.
The organization hoped to raise around $30,000.
