Local dancers are creating awareness and raising funds for both women’s and children’s shelters.
They will be performing at noon at the Minnesota Power Plaza and they will also be making a special appearance at Bent Paddles Festiversary.
The money raised will be going directly to local domestic abuse shelters CASDA and Safe Haven.
This is the largest international event of its kind and it’s easy to be a part of.
Feel free to email the local Shimmy Mob Leader, Sarah Garramone at sigmone33@gmail.com to become a belly dancer or to donate.
