Possible new Housing in Downtown Duluth

DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth City Council will be looking at a resolution to authorize the abatement of taxes for a $20 million City View Flats housing project.

The project would consist of more than 100 rental units on North 1st Avenue West.

Some of the units will be for the low income.

If approved, the city would forgo $400,000 in taxes at the site.

The St. Louis County Board is looking to pass a similar measure.
