Nettleton Elementary School one Step Closer to Sale
School Board has Approved the Sale of the Former Elementary School

DULUTH, Minn. – The former Nettleton Elementary School has a potential new buyer.
The School Board met earlier this week and approved the sale of the former elementary school.
Doug Hasler, the school system’s CFO, says the purchase agreement has not been executed yet but he anticipates that will happen soon.
The School Board was originally asking for $480,000 for the building, but is now reportedly asking for $150,000.
There has been no confirmation of the sale price or the prospective buyer at this time.
There have been two previous potential buyers for the former school in recent years, but both deals eventually fell through.
Nettleton and Central High School are the two remaining schools that have yet to be sold in the district’s Red Plan.
