Former Greyhound, Bulldog Welinski Signs With Anaheim

Twins Ports Development Camp insturctor Andy Welinski signs with the Anaheim Ducks.

ANAHEIM, Calif.- Former UMD Bulldog and Twin Ports Development Camp instructor Andy Welinski has signed a one–year, two-way contract with the Anaheim Ducks.

The 25-year-old defenseman made his NHL debut last season with the Ducks, recording two assists in seven games. Welinski has also played 119 career AHL games with the San Diego Gulls scoring 16 goals and notching 48 assists. The Duluth East grad spent his college time at UMD from 2012 to 2016.
