Body Recovered From Lake Bemidji

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Just after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday Beltrami County Sheriff’s responded to a report of an object floating in Lake Bemidji that appeared to be a body near the Bemidji Tourist Information Center.

When authorities arrived on scene they recovered the body of a female from the water.

The body was transferred to the Beltrami County Coroner’s Office and is pending an autopsy and identification.
