Jay Cooke State Park Continues Milestone Celebrations

Jay Cooke State Park turns 100 this year.
The park has hosted many events throughout the year to celebrate, but this weekend they are holding a Fall Colors Fun Day.
The event is Saturday, September 26th from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
You’ll be able to make your own watercolor leaves, learn about bird migration, play fun kids games, go on a photographic scavenger hunt, take a guided walk or listen to the legends of the stars.
Although this event is offered free of charge, a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit is needed to enter the park. They can be purchased upon arrive for $5/day or $25/annual.
