Bulldog Women’s Hockey Falls Late to Badgers
Goals by Hughes and Klein not enough to win it for UMD.
MADISON, Wis.- Late power play goals for Wisconsin lead them to 4-2 victory over Minnesota Duluth.
Anna Klein and Gabbie Hughes put up the two goals of the game for the Bulldogs but unfortunately they were not enough. Maddie Rooney was in net with 40 saves on 44 shots.
UMD falls to 2-2-1 on the season and 0-2-1 in WCHA play with a shot at redemption against Wisconsin on Sunday.
