UMD Ready for NCAA Softball Despite Inexperience

The University of Minnesota Duluth is back in the Division II NCAA Softball Tournament for the first time since 2012.  If you do the math, you'll realize none of the current Bulldogs could have been part of that team, including head coach Jen Walter.

Sandelin Signs Contact Extension

After another successful season, the University of Minnesota Duluth and Men's Hockey Coach Scott Sandelin agreed on a four-year contract extension, that will keep Sandelin behind the Bulldog bench through the 2020–21 season.

Kasimir Kaskisuo is giving up his final two seasons of college hockey eligibility to turn professional.  UMD's Finnish goalie is headed to Canada after he signed a two year contract with the Toronto Maple Leafs Monday.

Kind of irionic Michigan was the team to put UMD in to the Division I NCAA Men's Hockey Tournament.  After all, the Bulldogs beat Michigan for the 2011 title.  The only way the schools would meet this year would be in the championship game.

Lindstrom Excited to Face Tennessee
