During the month of March, people across the nation have been celebrating the legacy of Dr. Seuss.

Wednesday evening, students at UWS invited children and parents to join in on fun reading activities here, there and everywhere.

Event coordinators know that by learning to read at an early age, oh the places you’ll go.

“Dr. Seuss really knew how to educate and have a lot of fun with it,” said Lindsey Dobson, co-coordinator of Seussville Family Night. “He loved to create characters, create different lands. He’s just so much fun, lots of rhyming, lots of easy repetition, all things that are really important for children.”

Children who attended the event left with a free Dr. Seuss book.
