DULUTH, Minn. – Duluth Public School’s Superintendent is a finalist for a position with another school district near the Twin Cities.

Bill Gronseth is set to interview next week for the position of superintendent at Prior Lake-Savage area schools.

He said it would be a great match with his skill set and lessons he has learned in Duluth.

“I’ve grown up in Duluth. I went to Duluth schools as a student and I’ve taught here. I’ve been a principal and now superintendent and certainly I’ve given the community a lot and they’ve given me a lot back and it just seems like it’s time for me to take on a new challenge,” said Gronseth.

Gronseth said he would be sad to leave but is excited for the future.
