Rummage Sale Fights Bullying

If you buy second hand goods this weekend it will help out a local cause.
A rummage sale kicked off to raise startup costs for Buddies not Bullies.
The new non–profit is on a mission to raise awareness, provide education, workshops and a 5K run/walk to help eliminate bullying.
“No kids should ever have to feel unsafe,” Buddies not Bullies President and Co-founder Mindy Murtley said. “No kid should have to feel or ever go to bed feeling like nobody likes them. To me as a nurse it’s a passion to help our children.”
The rummage sale will continue Saturday from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. in the parking lot of Curtis Oil and SA on the Miller Trunk Highway.
