The recall of nearly 35–million airbags worldwide has left many drivers worried.
If your car is included in this recall, you should get a notice from your automaker.
You can also find out online, simply by entering in your VIN number.
Reports say the chemical that inflates the airbag can explode with too much force, sending shards flying toward the driver.
“The airbag is meant to protect us, and if the airbag is physically going to harm you, how much fun is that to know that could possibly happen,” said Mike Archer, Owner of AutoMedics Repair Shop.
This recall is affecting 1 in every 7 drivers on the road.
So far, it is being blamed for 6 deaths and over 100 injuries.
