Cooking Connection: Bent Spoon Bistro

Sorry, this video is no longer available

For this week’s Cooking Connection Rich with Bent Spoon Bistro showed William Seay how to make their most popular breakfast dish.

Bent Spoon Bistro opened in May of 2014 and Rich said it’s been a good first year.

The restaurant is in an old diner and uses as much local ingredients as possible.

Mama’s Platter:

-Start by cooking your desired amount of hash browns

-add 1/4 green pepper to hash browns

-add 1/4 onion to hash browns

-add desired amount of bacon to hash brown mixtures

When hash browns start to brown around the edges, begin cooking eggs in second pan.

-Cook 3 eggs in separate pan

-When cooked, add eggs to top of hash brown mixture

-Top with sour cream and shredded colby jack cheese
