Update: Authorities Identify 6-Year-Old Victim of Fatal ATV Accident

One Dead After ATV Accident Near Blackduck

Authorities have released the identity of the six year old girl who died in an atv crash 1.5 miles west of Blackduck on County Road 32 in the 20500 block of Nebish Rd NE on Monday.

Six year old Skyla Nesvig was fatally injured in the accident after apparently falling from the moving ATV which was being operated by her mother, Jennifer Nesvig of Williston, North Dakota.

Immediate lifesaving efforts by family members and first responders were unsuccessful and the child died at the scene.

The investigation is being conducted by the Sheriff’s office with assistance from the Minnesota State Patrol.

No further information will be released at this time pending the outcome of the autopsy and follow-up investigation.
