One Injured in Solway Township Crash
Hermantown Man Injured in Crash
On Wednesday around 8:03 a.m. St. Louis County Sheriff’s Deputies and Hermantown Police were called to 6100 Morris Thomas Road in Solway Township on a single vehicle rollover accident with injuries.
When deputies arrived, they found the vehicle rolled over in a ditch, up against a utility pole.
The driver, 24-year-old Cody Lund of Hermantown, needed to be extricated from his vehicle.
Lund did not appear to be wearing his seat belt.
He was taken by ambulance to Essentia Health – St. Mary’s Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
