A Fresh, Pasta Salad Perfect for a Summer Picnic
Cooking Connection: Sclavi's Pasta Primavera

For this week’s Cooking Connection, we made a fresh pasta salad with Sclavi’s Italian Restaurant.
Pasta Primavera
-Chop half an onion
-Heat oil in Skillet
-Chop yellow squash and zucchini
-Put onions, yellow squash, and zucchini in skillet
-While that is cooking chop other vegetables
-Chop quarter of an onion (to be raw)
-Chop garlic and squeeze juice out
-Cut pepper
-Put half cup of oil in mixing bowl
-Squeeze a juice from lemon into bowl
-Mix in vegetables and add teaspoon of salt and pepper
-Cut and add half a tomato
-Chop and add pickled peppers
-Add artichoke
-Chop and add fresh basil
-Add cooked tortellini
-Cook choice of steak or chicken
-Add cooked vegetables to mixture
-Add choice of meat when cooked
