A group of girls, and a couple of their brothers, spent Tuesday making blankets for Northlanders in need.
Campers at the American Heritage Girls day camp cut and tied fleece blankets, with fabric they had picked themselves.
The blanket making service project is designed to teach the children about the needs of others.
The blankets will be donated to shelters in Duluth and Superior.
American Heritage Girls has been in Duluth for about a year, but the national organization is celebrating it’s 20th anniversary this year.
