Scholastica Welcomes New Students
An area university welcomed students starting a new chapter in their life.
The College of Saint Scholastica hosted its 104th year.
students and parents filled the campus as scholars moved into their dorms and got socially acquainted.
this academic year, CSS expects to enroll its largest student body of nearly 4,400 hundred.
This is the last welcome week for university president Larry
Goodwin.
He tells FOX 21 working for CSS has been the greatest calling of his life.
“I’ve been doing it for 18 years so I’m gonna miss it,” said Goodwin. “On the other hand there’s time when you gotta hand it off and get to your bucket list and do some stuff while you can still do it.”
School officially starts September 8th.
