For a second year, the University of Wisconsin-Superior is working to inspire discussions about violence and peace.
The school debuted an exhibit called ‘Victory Over Violence’ Monday.
The exhibit is a chance to encourage respect, trust and friendship among young people, families, schools and communities across all boundaries like race, religion and culture.
“We don’t have to become pessimistic or give up, and that there’s a way that we can kind of light each other’s candles and be able to say no. These problems were all created by human beings. So human beings can solve them,” said Lisa Mattsson, with the Center for Continuing Education at UWS.
The exhibit will be on display in Swenson Hall through October 2.
