Cemetery Walk to Educate on Douglas County History

This weekend, The Douglas County Historical Society is hosting a Living History Walk through Greenwood Cemetery in Superior. 

This is the first time for this new annual event/fundraiser for the society. 

There will be 14 actors portraying Douglas County ancestors along with staff of DCHS along the way providing interesting information on the lives of even more folks, along with historical facts about Greenwood Cemetery.

It’ll be this Saturday, September 26th from 2-5 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.douglashistory.org, or at the gate on Saturday.

You can pay with cash, check or credit card.

Tickets are: $20 General Admission, $15 DCHS Members, $10 Veterans, $5 Children (5-12) and Active Duty Veterans and children under 5 are free.

Greenwood Cemetery is located at 8402 Tower Ave, Superior, WI.
